Reassembling the mower
1. Discard the existing sealing strip and replace it with the included sealing strip (H).
2. Reassemble the mower in the opposite sequence.

CAUTION: Always connect the HMI cable before the power cable to avoid current spikes
that may harm the circuit boards or the battery.
Note: Attach a new warranty seal. The warranty seal must be included and unbroken for the
warranty to be valid.
Note: Make sure the that the grommets are correctly installed to seal against moisture.
Installing the roof bumpers
Roof bumpers are recommended for models 430X, 430XH, 450X, and 450XH.
Roof bumpers are optional for models 520, 520H, 550, and 550H.
Install the roof bumpers around the STOP button on the mower. The roof bumpers prevent the
door from accidentally striking and engaging the STOP button as the mower passes through the
opening.
Refer to the following diagram for suggested roof bumper locations.

430X, 430XH, 450X, 450XH, 520, 520H, 550, 550H
1. Clean any dirt and debris from the
application surface.
2. Peel the paper from the roof bumper
adhesive strips (B, C) and apply the strips
at the planned roof bumper locations. Use
1 large strip and 2 small strips for each roof
bumper.
» Position the roof bumpers to closely
follow the edges of the mower body.
» The middle roof bumper should be as
close to the center as possible.
» The outer roof bumpers should be
positioned closely to ends of the center
roof bumper to minimize any gaps.
3. Apply the roof bumpers (A) onto the roof
bumper adhesive strips. Press firmly into
place.
