Installation site requirements
The lawn grade around which the door is installed should be relatively flat and
level in all directions to ensure proper operation of the door and passage of
the mower.
Remove any stones, branches, roots or other objects that can damage or
affect the operation of the mower or door.
Fence requirements
The frame mounts flush to most wood, composite, vinyl, and metal fence
types with thickness ranging from 2.54 to 5.08 cm (1 to 2 in). Installation in
chain link or wire fences is not recommended.
Assess the condition of the fence. The fence should be sturdy. If the fence
is leaning or sagging, make repairs as necessary to ensure the pickets are
vertical and stable. Replace rotted or damaged pieces that may compromise
the integity of the installation.
