4. Initial use

4.1 Insert the batteries

1. Slide off the battery compartment lid on the rear of the main unit.
2. Insert four AAA type (LR03) batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries are
inserted the correct way round.
3. Then close the battery compartment lid until you see and hear it click into place.

4.2 Set the date and time

After inserting the batteries, the date and time must be set.
The device automatically stores all measured values with the date and time.
The date and time must be reset after replacing the batteries.
The following parameters are set one after the other: Year -> Month -> Day -> Hour -> Minute
1. Insert the batteries, or press and hold the "+" button on the side for 5 sec-
onds if the batteries have already been inserted. The year flashes on the
