6. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector, and the red into the
"INPUT" connector.
• Set the function switch to the appropriate DC voltage range, connect the
test probes through the circuit to be tested. The polarity and the voltage at
the point where the red probe is connected will be shown on the LCD.
NOTE
1. If the measured voltage is not known in advance, you should set the
function switch to the highest range and then switch to the appropriate
range according to the value displayed.
2. In case the LCD shows "OL", it means it is over the range. Change the
function switch to a higher range.
REAL RMS MEASUREMENT OF AC VOLTAGE
• Insert the black test probe into the "COM" connector and the red test
probe into the "INPUT" connector.
• Connect the function switch to the appropriate a.c. voltage range, and
connect the test leads through the circuit under test.
