Push the battery connector up to the threaded joint and use an
5.
open-end spanner to firmly lock the connector with a torque
of 2 Nm, as shown in Fig. 48.

1. Before carrying out the connection, make sure
that the polarity of the cable is correct.
Warning
2. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of
the battery pack and make sure that the voltage
is within the inverter limits and that the polarity
is correct.
Insert the positive and negative connectors into the respec-
6.
tive inverter battery terminals. A "click" will ensure correct
assembly, as shown in Fig. 49.

To connect the battery system, optional equipment must
be purchased. If purchasing SALICRU batteries, see the
EL236*50 manual, otherwise, refer to the manufacturer's
manual.

5.3.4.3. Steps for the connection of
communications between battery
system and inverter.
The communications cable required for the battery system
•
is connected to the inverter at the factory. It is identified
as "BMS".
If you have accidentally disconnected it or need to connect
a longer one, etc., unscrew the protective casing, pass it
through the cable gland that is labelled BMS and connect it to
the RJ45 port labelled with the same name.
Fig. 50. Identification of the RJ45 port on the inverter.
Connect the other end of the cable, identified as BMS, to the
•
communications port on the battery system. In the case of
the SALICRU battery system, it must be connected to the
"Inverter com" port of the BMS, as shown in the figure below.

battery system.
5.3.5. AC ON-GRID and AC BACK-UP output
connection.
Before connecting to the grid, make sure that the voltage and
frequency of the grid meet the inverter's requirements. Please
refer to the technical parameters for more details.
This inverter includes a built-in residual current device (RCD).
If an external residual current device (RCD) is used, a type A device
must be used, with a trip current of 30 mA or more.
