▸
Protect the hoses against kinking,
constrictions, solvents and sharp edges.
Keep the hoses away from heat, oil and
rotating parts. Immediately replace any
damaged hoses. A damaged supply line can
result in a flailing compressed air hose and cause
personal injuries. Stirred up dust or chips can
cause severe eye injuries.
▸
Ensure that hose clamps are always
fully tightened. Hose clamps that are not fully
tightened or damaged can allow air to escape in
an uncontrolled manner.
Safety of persons
▸
Remain alert and pay attention to what

resistant safety glasses. Wearing of PPE
such as a breathing mask, anti-slip safety shoes,
work gloves, helmet and hearing protection
according to the instructions of your employer

risk of injuries.
▸
Do not forget to ensure that the device
is switched off when you connect it to
the air supply. If you connect the device to the
air supply when it is switched on, it can lead to
accidents.
▸
Only transport the device when it is
switched off. Accidents may occur if the on/off
switch is inadvertently pressed when transporting
the device.

After maintenance or repair work
remove all tools before switching the
device back on. Tools located in a rotating
part of the device can lead to injuries.
▸

unfavourable postures in which it is
difficult to remain balanced. Unexpected
movements of the device can occur as a result of

and appropriate posture allow the device to be
better controlled in unexpected situations.
