• If an electrical appliance falls into water, do not attempt to extract it, but
immediately remove the plug from the power socket.
Attention! Do NOT tamper with the power cord for any reason. In the event
of damage, contact your dealer.
Unwind the cable completely. DO NOT allow the cable to hang over the
edge of the table or worktop or touch hot surfaces.
NEVER use adapters for supply voltages other than those indicated on the
data label attached under the appliance.
DO NOT use the appliance outdoors.
ATTENTION! BEFORE USING THIS DEVICE
DO NOT use the appliance for purposes other than boiling water. Other
liquids may contaminate the inside of the kettle.
DO NOT touch the heated surfaces. Use the handles or knobs.
• Using accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in
fire, electric shock or physical injuries.
DO NOT place the appliance on or near a gas or electric burner, or in a hot
oven.
DO NOT close the spout while water is flowing. Be very careful when
handling an appliance containing hot liquids.
DO NOT use the kettle without its lid in place. If the lid is left open while
the kettle is hot, you may suffer burns.
• Make sure that the drip tray is always in place and that a cup is on the
drip tray when the water dispensing door is open. Keep your hands away
from the water dispensing door when it is open.
• Always close the water spout before removing the kettle from the base
to avoid the risk of scalding due to any residual water in the spout after
boiling a cup.
DO NOT fill the kettle above the MAX level. If the kettle is filled above the
preset level, boiling water may spill out.
• This appliance must be used only with the power base provided.
DO NOT wet the power base and/or its connector.
Surfaces may become hot during use. After use, the surface of the heating
elements is subject to residual heat.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
INSTALLATION
A short supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards of becoming entangled
in or tripping over a long cord. Extension cords may be used if care is
exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical
rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.The extension cord
