4. MIXING TOOLS CHOICE
For the M18 mixer, we supply K4 mixing tool as standard; suitable for heavy viscous materials
such as mortar, quartz sand mixed with epoxy resin, heat-resistant paints, etc. also suitable for thin
materials.
The mixer can also be used with other types of rods that have an M14 screw connection.
5. MAINTENANCE
Correct maintenance of the machine will prolong its lifetime. The handle switch must always be
in good working and maintenance condition.
Mixing utensils should be cleaned at the end of the operation or when not in use for a long time;
Normally, water or quartz sand can clean mixing tools well.
Do not force any mechanical stresses on the machine, such as pounding, as this will inevitably
damage the machine.
The mixing shaft must always be antipollution.
The hole of the hexagonal socket must always be positioned in such a way as to protect the
cover.
The ventilation of the motor housing must not be covered when the machine is in operation, no
flammable materials may be present in the machine.
The vent must be cleaned frequently.
Only original parts may be used in this machine.
The carbon brushes should be checked and maintained when the machine is running for up to 60
hours, please replace the brush in time if found worn.
To change the brushes, the machine must first be unplugged from the power supply. Once the
machine is switched off, remove the brush covers and replace the brushes.
6. OPERATION
MIXING ROD ASSEMBLY
(Picture 1) Take out the two parts of the mixing rod from the carton.
(Picture 2) Fitting the two parts together.
(Picture 3) Use the wrench until both parts are tightened.
(Picture 4) Connect the mixing rod to the output shaft of the machine.
(Picture 5) Tighten the union screw of the machine and the mixing rod with the wrenches until the
two parts are well assembled.
