12. MAINTENANCE
Store the harness away and remove the padding.
Take the fabric cover off the headrest.
Unfasten the button and remove the fabric cover
from the lower part of the headrest.
To fit the fabric cover again, follow the same steps in
reverse order.
The safety lock is not working properly if the
following situations occur:
1) When you press the red button it opens slowly
2) It is not possible to insert the metal parts of the sa-
fety lock into the fastener or, when they are inserted
they automatically come loose again.
3) The safety button does not emit the safety click.
4) It is difficult to insert the metal parts into the safety
lock.

5) Excessive force is required to open the safety lock.
The 5-point safety harness is very important for the
child's safety. Incorrect use of the 5-point harness
may put the child's safety at risk. Do not use oils or
other lubricants on the safety lock. Defects in the
functioning of the safety lock are usually caused by
inserting foreign objects into the lock.
13. RECOMMENDATIONS
Check all the parts of the safety seat before using
it. Make sure that it is in good condition as this will
reduce the risk of an accident.
Check that the seat belts are not too loose before
use.
Do not expose the safety seat to excessively cold or
hot temperatures, or damp environments.
Keep the instruction manual in a safe place.
In the event of an accident replace the car seat with
a new one. Contact your retailer if you have any
questions.
14. GUARANTEE INFORMATION
- This item is guaranteed against manufacturing
defects as stipulated in the legal Directives and/
or regulations in force on guarantees for consumer
goods applicable to the European Union and those of
the country in which it is marketed.
- It is essential to present the purchase invoice or
receipt in order to process the guarantee through
the seller of the item or, failing that, through the
manufacturer.
- The guarantee excludes anomalies or faults
caused by misuse, non-compliance with the safety
regulations and instructions for use and maintenance
provided, or due to wear and tear caused by normal
use and regular handling of the item.
- The label containing the serial number of your
model must not be torn off under any circumstances
as it contains information relevant to the guarantee.
