Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
Remove the lid and tool from the bowl before cleaning.
• Power unit: Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. Never use abrasives or immerse in water.
When there is any burn mark on the blender jug bottom, put some citric acid or lemons
into water, heat 5~7 minutes, then remove the burn mark with a cloth.
• Bowl/stirring paddle/blade: Wash the parts, then dry thoroughly. If there is any food
stuck or burns on the inside of the bowl, remove as much as possible using a spatula.
Fill the bowl with warm soapy water and allow it to soak. Remove any stubborn deposits
using a cleaning brush. Any discolouration of the bowl will not affect its performance.
• How to take out steam basket: Put the mearsuring cup into the steam basket slot and
rotate until fix. Then, take out.
WARNING: NEVER WASH THE BOWL INTO THE DISHWASHER AS THE ELECTRICAL
CONNECTIONS ON THE BASE WILL BE DAMAGED.
• Please unplug the power cord before cleaning. Use a dry and soft cloth to clean the pow-
er cord and the main unit. Do not wash them with water or put it into the dish-washing
machine.
• DO NOT wash the bowl into the dishwasher because the electrical conections on the base
will be damaged.
• The chopping blade can be removed and cleaned with water and detergent.
• Accessories such as the lid, measuring cup, blade, mixing paddle, steam basket, steamer,
etc., can be washed by dish-washing machine.
• Metal brushes, nylon brushes, household cleaners, diluents and other abrasive cleaning
products will damage the surface of the product.
• Why does it go off? The fuse goes off when the bottom of the bowl is overheating. This is
a serious issue and you should identify the cause to stop it from happening again. Make
sure you follow the instructions given in the "usage limits and recommendations" para-
graph thoroughly.
• Possible causes of overheating are: not using the mixing blade, heating the bowl while
empty, or cooking food at an inappropriately high temperature and for too long. Never let
food burn inside the bowl. If the food starts burning, lower the cooking temperature and
add some water or fatty ingredient.
• Prior to resetting the fuse: cool the bowl.
• If there is a hot mixture inside, empty it into a separate bowl as you will finish the cooking
process later on. Pour cold water into the bowl and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes approxi-
mately. Do not put the bowl in the refrigerator, it is dangerous (moisture) and much slow-
er. Once the bowl has cooled down, empty it.
