TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
Impeller blockage.
Inlet/Outlet line is
clogged or damaged.
Inlet connection not
air tight.
Impeller cover is not
secured tightly.
Impeller worn out.
Dry pump shutdown.
Locked impeller.
Battery is discharged.
Outlet line blocked.
Outlet line positioned
too high.
Outlet line is too long.
Pump running for
extended period of
time and overheats.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
See Replacing the Impeller and O-Ring in the Maintenance sec-
tion of this manual.
Replace Inlet/Outlet line. Check lines for blockages, kinks or bends.
Clear blockages.
Tighten inlet connection. Add pipe thread tape or a gasket if
necessary.
Hand tighten four (4) cover screws.
See Replacing the Impeller and O-Ring in the Maintenance sec-
tion of this manual.
Check the viewing window. Make sure there is water in the pump.
Turn off pump and then turn on to reset. Avoid letting the pump
run dry.
Clear any blockages from the impeller. Turn off pump and then
turn on to reset.
Replace or recharge the battery.
Clear outlet line. Turn off pump and then turn on to reset.
Position outlet line to avoid restricting water flow. Turn off pump
and then turn on to reset.
Use a shorter length of outlet line if possible. Turn off pump and
then turn on to reset.
Allow pump to cool before restarting. If condition persists, check
for blocked impeller or the position and/or length of the outlet line.
Turn off pump and then turn on to reset.
