These instructions do not replace the regulations in force, which must be consulted.
Follow the permissible loads on the platform and the structure.
Horizontal forces must not exceed 30Kg.
Wind limit with stabilizers = 35 km/h.
Wind speed over 35 km/h: tie up the mobile access and work tower.
Wind speed over 45 km/h: dismantle the mobile tower according to §7.
Do not approach bare live conductors.
In public areas, prohibit public access to the machine.
Mark out the installation area if machines, vehicles, etc. are passing.
Check that there are no overhead obstacles in the movement area.
Mobile access and work towers should only be moved manually on solid, level ground, and without any ground or
overhead obstructions. The moving speed should not exceed the normal walking speed of a human being.
for moving the mobile access and work tower must not exceed 6m in height and there must not be any people on this
equipment.
Keep the stabilizers attached to the mobile access and work tower when moving it (minimum clearance between the
support plate and the ground).
The floor on which the mobile access and work tower moves must be able to support loads being lowered.
Provide a runway for soft ground (unstable soil, gravel, etc.).
The STARTEO must be moved by two people, the mobile access and work tower is "pushed", it is not "pulled" to the
maximum height indicated by the manufacturer.
When the mobile access and working tower is left unattended, make sure that the stabilizers are working properly (see
§ 2-3), prohibit access to any unauthorised person and protect from the weather.
Mobile towers are not designed to be covered.
Mobile towers compliant with EN 1004-1 are not designed to be used as a means of perimeter protection.
Mobile towers conforming to EN 1004-1 are not designed to be used as a means of ingress or egress from other
structures, e.g. stairs.
It is prohibited

To use a jib crane, even a manual one, placed on the outside of the mobile tower.
o
To cover the mobile access and working tower, even partially.
o
To increase the height beyond the permitted levels.
o
To use components other than those supplied and described in the names list.
o
To use damaged components.
o
To use a mobile access and work tower that has not been assembled vertically (tolerance: 1%).
o
To use a mobile access and work tower that has not been assembled according to the instructions in this
manual.
o
To create a walkway between a mobile access and work tower and a building or between two mobile towers.
o
To support an access ladder on the mobile tower.
o
To jump on the platform.
o
To use the floors as a platform.
o
To access the work surface externally.
o
Move the mobile access and working tower on a floor with a maximum slope of 3%.
o
To move a mobile access and work tower using any type of motor vehicle.
o
To move the mobile access and work tower with a wind speed of over 35 km/h.
o
To move the mobile access and work tower when people or equipment are on it.
o
To lift the mobile access and work tower using any with a crane or an overhead crane.
o
To block the hatch in the open position.
