Technical Information
Old Serial Protocol ("Binary Protocol")
The "Binary Protocol" serial protocol used by some old controllers is no longer
supported.
For new projects, Agilent advises that the new protocol "Window protocol" be used.
Nevertheless, for compatibility with the old systems, some commands of the
"Binary Dual" have been implemented.
The 4UHV controller cannot implement all the commands of the Dual but only a
subset.
Communications Format
These protocols have the following formats:
