When you have finished cooking
Turn both knobs to the "OFF" position.
Note: The hob will display "H" to show
the cooking zone is too hot too touch.
This is due to the convection of heat
generated in the pan transferring back to
the cooking surface of the hob during
use and is perfectly normal.
Important : The display will flash with
and the selected power output if:
• you have not placed a pan on the
correct cooking zone.
• the chosen pan is not suitable for
induction cooking.
• the pan is too small or not correctly
centred on the zone. As a result the hob
will automatically switch off after one
minute.
When the knob is turned off in a non-" OFF
"mode or any other abnormal
shutdown, the cooking zones would not be
restarted even re-switch on by power
supply. You need to turn the knob to the
"OFF" position, and then turn the knob to
switch on the cooking zones.
Using the timer
You can set the timer from 1-99 minutes
and this can be used in two ways:
1. As an alarm that does not alter any of the
cooking zones.
2. As an automatic switch off function to turn
off one cooking zone.
Note: This function only operates on one
zone at a time; the other zone will
continue to operate as normal.
Using the timer as an alarm
Note: You can use the timer function
independently of the cooking zones.
1. Make sure that at least one cooking zone
is working.
2. Touch the timer key(C) and the timer
indicator will flash"10.".

increase or decrease one minute at a
time.
4. Or touch and hold the "+" or "–" keys to
increase or decrease ten minutes at a
time. The timer will commence
countdown and show the remaining time.
The timer will beep for 30 seconds once
completed.

and select the power level required.
2. Touch the timer key(C) until the power
level indicator flashing which needs to be
timed.

time. The timer will commence countdown
and show the remaining time. The timer
will beep for 30 seconds once completed.

controlled cooking zone will flash when the
timer is operative.
Over-Temperature Protection
A temperature sensor equipped can monitor
the temperature inside the Induction hob.
When an excessive temperature is
monitored, the Induction hob will stop
operation automatically.
Detection of Small Articles
When an unsuitable size or non-magnetic
pan (e.g. aluminium), or some other small
item (e.g. knife, fork, key) has been left on
the hob, the hob automatically go on to
standby in 1 minute. The fan will keep
cooking down the induction hob for a further
1 minute.
