moving, and remove the start key from the mower when
you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning,

blades for damage or uneven or excessive wear prior to
use. Use of the mower with damaged or missing parts

NOTICE:
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced. Please contact customer service or an

You may use this product for the purpose listed below:
Mowing your lawn
SETTING THE PARKING BRAKE
See Figure 3.
To set the parking brake:
Fully depress and hold the brake pedal.
With the brake pedal pushed in, pull park brake handle
into the up position.
Release the brake pedal. Handle should remain in the
upmost position once released.
To release the parking brake:
Depress and release the brake pedal. Park brake handle
should return to the bottom-most position.
OPERATION
SEAT ADJUSTMENT BAR
WARNING:
Never leave the mower unattended when the motor is
running or with the key in the power switch. Verify that
the parking brake is set and the key has been removed.
Failure to set the parking brake could cause the mower
to move, and leaving the key could allow unauthorized
use that could result in serious personal injury.
ADJUSTING THE SEAT
See Figure 4.
Adjust the seat position forward or backward to ensure you
are able to make firm contact with the brake pedal before
operating the mower.
