unnecessary loss. The suction piping
must be fixed to avoid vibration.
Make sure that the filter / spout placed
on the inlet of the suction hose is
immersed more than 30 cm to prevent
air from entering. It should be away
from the banks or limits and from the
bottom of the aspiration site (brook,
levada, weir, well, etc.) to avoid the
entry of debris.
3.1 - MOUNTING THE FILTER /
DRAIN IN THE SUCTION HOSE
(FIG. D)
1. Mount the filter / Plug;
2. EInsert the filter into the suction
hose;
3. Insert and tighten the clamp;
Always insert the filter. This
prevents particles from entering,
preventing damage to the motor pump.
3.2 - MOUNTING THE SUCTION
HOSE (FIG. E)
1. Insert the other end of the suction
hose into the intake hose of the suction
hose connector and attach the supplied
clamp. Tighten tightly;
2. Place the rubber gasket between the
connector and the inlet connector to
ensure the seal;
3. Tighten the tightening nut in the inlet
connector (14).
The suction hose must be
reinforced (steel mesh or wall
that does not allow folding) in order to
avoid collapse during the operation of
the motor pump. Do not use hose with
a smaller diameter than the inlet hose.
3.3 - MOUNTING THE OUTLET /
DISCHARGE HOSE (FIG. F)
1. Insert the end of the outlet / discharge
hose into the outlet pipe and attach the
clamp provided with the motor pump;
2. Place the rubber gasket between the
connector and the inlet connector to
ensure the seal;
3. Tighten the locking nut on the outlet
connector (15);
4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 - PUMP START (FIG. G)
1. Remove the filler cap (9) from the
outlet connector;
2. With the filter / spout immersed and
the suction hose placed in the motor
pump, fill the pump chamber (10) with
clean water through the filling hole. The
chamber is full when water begins to
leak into the outlet pipe (15);
3. Start the engine and check that the
pump draws in water
4. If the pump does not suck water stop
the pump immediately;
5. Ensure that the hose and connections
to the intake pipe in the pump are
properly sealed and repeat the above
steps until the pump is primed;
Always make sure that the pump
chamber is filled with water
before starting the engine. Operation of
the pump without water will cause
damage to the pump seal.
4.2 - STARTING THE ENGINE
(FIG. H)
1. Close the air, move the air lever (5)
until it locks to the right;
2. Open the fuel cock (4), turn it to the
"ON" position, the knob should lean to
the right;
3. Set the throttle lever (6) to 1/3 of
the distance between positions, from
the right;
4. Turn the "ON / OFF" switch (2) to
the "ON" position;
5. Pull the starter handle (3) slowly
until you feel some resistance, then pull
hard until the engine starts;
6. After about 30s, open the air, move
the air lever until it is to the right.
Do not close the air if the engine
is warm or the air temperature is
high.
4.3 - ENGINE STOP (FIG. I)
1. Set the throttle lever (6) to the right
2. Set the "ON / OFF" switch (2) to the
"OFF" position;
3. Close the fuel cock (4), the handle
should lean to the left
In an emergency, immediately
set the "ON / OFF" switch to
the "OFF" position;
4.4 - THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT
(FIG. J)
The engine speed is controlled via the
throttle lever (6).
With the throttle lever set to the right,
the engine runs at idle. The speed
increases as the lever is moved to the
left.
5. MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS
Before
carrying
maintenance or cleaning work,
place the pump on a level surface, set
the "ON / OFF" switch (2) to the
"OFF" position and remove the spark
plug pipe (18).
5.1 - CHECKING
AND CHANGING ENGINE OIL
(FIG. K)
