The slack cable safety system is triggered if one of
the four suspension cables is no longer taut during a
lowering operation. This situation may arise if the lifting
platform makes contact with an obstacle or if a detent
pin has not been properly set. This safety function
prevents tilting of the runways by more than 50 mm.
Lowering is deactivated automatically, lifting is still
possible. Action to be taken: Raise the lifting platform
and remove the obstacle.

Wheel-free scissor lift

The wheel-free scissor lift is based on a scissors
mechanism with hydraulic drive. The length of the
resting surface can be adjusted. The wheel-free scissor
lift is locked in position when fully extended.
If operation of the two wheel-free scissors is not
synchronous, the lifting platform is automatically
deactivated.

The sliding plates are used for wheel alignment.
When not locked, the sliding plates can be moved in
longitudinal direction. The sliding plates can be locked
with pins when not in use.

hole provided.

Releasing:
1. Lift the pin slightly.
2. Turn through 180°.
3. Set down again.

The small stud rests on the sliding plate and holds the
pin half way up.
