Driving vehicle into position
DANGER – Risk of incorrect vehicle positioning
Risk of (fatal) injury due to the vehicle falling
or tipping up during lifting, when working on
the vehicle and on lowering.
¶
Drive the vehicle into position exactly as
described.
1. Make sure the runways are correctly spaced.
2. Drive the vehicle in a straight line to the center
of the lifting platform. The wheels on each side
of the vehicle must be on the center line of the
corresponding runway.
3. Stop the vehicle and secure in position by applying
the parking brake or engaging a gear.
4. Get out of the vehicle.
5. Check the position of the vehicle.

Raising vehicle on runway
DANGER – Risk of vehicle falling or tilting!
Risk of (fatal) injury on lifting (or raising) the
runway.
¶
Make sure the vehicle is correctly
positioned and secured against rolling.
¶
Make sure there is no-one in the vehicle or
in the area of the lifting platform.
¶
Keep away from the lifting platform.
¶
Observe the lifting platform and vehicle.
¶
Pay attention to even lowering of both
runways when setting down in detent
position.
1. Set the mode selector switch to "1 Runway".
2. Keep the "Lift" button (o) pressed.
The runway moves upwards for as long as the
button is pressed.
3. Raise the runway to slightly above the required end
position and then release the button.
The detent pins are positioned in front of the
snap latches.
4. Keep the setting-down button pressed.
The detent pins are extended.
The runway moves downwards until all four de-
tent pins are resting in the snap latches.

The runway is raised and locked.

The runways will tilt on lowering if the four detent
pins are not properly engaged. The lowering
operation will then be stopped by the slack cable
safety system.
Action to be taken: Raise again, press the setting-
down button and repeat the setting-down operation.
