5. Installation
5.3 KVM Console Installation
To set up the B021-SWHD-K, refer to the following steps and installation diagram.

Plug the HDMI and USB Type-B connectors of a KVM cable into the KVM ports located in the CPU section on the rear
of the B021-SWHD-K.

Plug the USB Type-A and HDMI connectors of the KVM cable into their respective ports of the KVM switch (or
computer).

If installing an external console, plug your keyboard, mouse and monitor into their respective ports on the console
section of the B021-SWHD-K.

Plug one end of the power cord into the B021-SWHD-K power socket, then plug the other end into a power source.

Turn on the power to the B021-SWHD-K.

Turn on the power to the KVM switch (and/or computers).
