French (original version) and translated sections.
The French sections will be the reference in case
of dispute.
All measures are expressed in metric units.
Converted values to other systems (notably US
and UK) are given for reference only.

2 - General
Installation and the first running of the appliance
should only be carried out by a qualified
engineer.
They are responsible for the conformity of the
installation and the commissioning in accordance
with the standards in force.
2.1 - Intended use of the appliance
SYSTEL appliances are manufactured in
conformity with the latest technical evolutions
and safety regulations in force.
The SOLAIR heating system is intended for the
heating of livestock rooms.
All other uses are considered as inadequate and
prohibited.
In no case will the manufacturer be held
responsible for damages or harm caused by
using the appliance for any purpose other than
that for which it is designed. The user wholly
assumes all risks.
The notion of intended use also includes
compliance with the instructions in this manual
and all accompanying documents, as well as
compliance with the installation and maintenance
conditions.
2.2 - Documents
● Please keep this manual and, all the
documents that accompany it, nearby so that
you can consult them if necessary.
We decline all responsibility for damages caused
by not observing the instructions of this manual.

3 - Prescriptions and security
The SOLAIR heating system can be dangerous
if not properly maintained and used. Read this
manual carefully, especially the notes and safety
instructions.

cover all the risks associated with the use of the
appliance.
In addition to the messages given, it is important
to apply good judgement and apply the basic
principles of safety.
3.1 - What to do if you smell gas?
● Do not switch the light on or off.
● Do not use any electrical switches.
● Do not use telephone in the area at risk.
● Do not light an open flame (e.g. a lighter or a
match).
● Do not smoke.
● Close the gas tap.
● Open the doors and windows.
● Alert other building occupants.
● Inform the gas company or your qualified
professional.
3.2 - Prescriptions
You must comply with the following safety
instructions :

materials (e.g. petrol, paint etc.) in the same
room as the appliance.
● Not use the appliance in the hour following
the cleaning of the local where it is located.
● Never disable security devices and do not
try to adjust them as you may make them
malfunction.
