10.2 - Cleaning
Cleaning of appliances is mandatory
between each batch of broiler poultry
When the rearing time is important, the
cleaning must be done every 10 weeks.
The following safety instructions must be strictly
observed during maintenance and replacement
of spare parts.
● Switch off the device (see chapter "Turn the
device off").
● Close the gas tap.
● Use only new seals.
● After work on gas pipes, check for leaks.
After the replacement work, perform a functional
check of the replaced parts and of the appliance.

Ignition hole
Clean with compressed air (dry) between each
batch of poultry or whenever the flames appear
of an abnormal color:
● The large burner then the small burner
passing the nozzle of the blow gun (1) into
the ignition hole (2) of the large burner.
● The venturi.
● All parts likely to become dirty.
In case of insufficient heating power, clean the
injector by blowing it with dry air or the mouth,
without presence of oil (never introduce a rigid
element in the orifice of the injector).
If the problem persists, call a competent
professional.
10.3 - After the heating period
M
See page 5.
● Remove and clean the appliance as soon as
the heating period has stopped.
● Blow the venturi of the device before storage
to avoid the "sticking" of dust in the presence
of moisture.
● Check that the piping accessories (shut-
off devices, regulators, filters) are working
correctly.
● Store the device in a clean and dry place.

Venturi
● The change of the injector (6) or the cleaning
takes place with dry air or with the mouth after
having removed the injector support (5).
● Using an 8 mm open-end wrench,
disassemble the injector (6) and replace it
with a new injector of the same type.
● Sealing is achieved by normally tightening the
aluminum seal between the injector (6) and
the venturi (9).
● Rest the parts constituting the burner taking
care of their good positioning.
10.5 - Thermocouple and magnetic
head replacement

Screw
Before replacing the assembly, check the
contact between the thermocouple (11a) and the
magnetic head (8).
Try the SOLAIR heating system. If it does not
stay on, replace the assembly.
● Loosen the screws (17) and remove the
flanges (2, 3) (see page 2).
● Loosen the screw (19) and slide the bracket
(18).
● Remove the thermocouple (11a).
● Using a wrench, unscrew the magnetic head
(8).
● Eliminate defective parts and mount new
parts on the unit.
● Reassemble the parts in the reverse order of
disassembly.
● Check the device functioning.
