the mains voltage matches the value on the data label affixed to
the product.
6. Do not connect the product if flammable materials are present,
be them in liquid or gas form.
7. Keep the power cable away from heat.
8. Always disconnect the power supply before every maintenance
operation.
9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manu-
facturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
10. Do not spread any flammable liquid, gas or material on the product.
11. This product is not suitable for use in barns, stables or similar
places.
12. In the event of faults or malfunctions, contact an authorised
Technical Support Centre, and insist on the use of original spare
parts.
The electric insect killer is intended for indoor use only.
INSTALLATION
If the product is plugged directly to a fixed power line, a bipolar
differential circuit breaker with a contact opening distance of
at least 3 mm must be installed upstream of the supply line.
Before making the connections, make sure the contacts in the
breaker are open.
For added protection, we recommend installing a differential
current device - with rated operating differential current not
higher than 30 mA - on the electric circuit supplying the
product. Ask your installer advice on this topic.
The special UV-A lamps attract flying insects towards the product.
When the insects get close, they remain attached to the adhesive
paper. (Adhesive paper is supplied as a replacement part.) This
system makes it possible to control and eliminate flying insects in
the surrounding environment.
