1. Fit the suction tube (4) into the connector.
Never operate the vacuum cleaner without having
the HEPA filter installed. The HEPA filter prevents ash
and dust intake to the engine, thus preventing breakdowns.
1. Undo the fastening latches (5) and remove the vacuum
cleaner head;
2. Fit the HEPA filter on the motor base;
3. Place the head back on and fasten the latches.
Never operate the vacuum cleaner if the cloth filter
bag is not in place. The cloth filter bag prevents ash
and dust from passing through to the HEPA filter,
increasing the useful life of the filter.
Place the cloth filter bag on top of the HEPA filter.
The vacuum cleaner was designed for household use to
vacuum up ash and dry debris, not for use in industrial
environments.
Never use the appliance for vacuuming:
▪ Water or any other liquid;
▪ Dusts hazardous to health (dust class L, M, H);
▪ Hot or flammable objects with temperatures above 40°C.
At temperatures over 40°C there is a danger of
combustion;
▪ Dust or combustible/explosive liquids;
▪ Soot.
Before vacuuming the ash, you should take a few
precautions:
▪ Shake the ash with a metal object to check that the ash
is still hot. Ash or debris that seem to have cooled down
may still be extremely hot inside. Ensure that the ash is
completely extinguished before vacuuming;
▪ During ash vacuuming, permanently check the suction
hose and the vacuum cleaner for heating. In case of
overheating, switch off the appliance immediately and
remove the battery.
Avoid vacuuming debris and materials that could decrease
airflow and block or clog suction accessories.
Never use the vacuum cleaner if the suction power is too
low. If this happens, check that the tank is full and check
the cleaning condition of the HEPA filter (refer to the
maintenance instructions). Also check if there are any
blockages or clogging in the suction tube.
Make sure the ash tank (1) is completely empty before
you switch on the vacuum cleaner.
1. Set the "ON/OFF" switch (6) to position "I";
To switch off the vacuum cleaner:
2. Set the "ON/OFF" switch to position "0".
