- Fit the plate (1) onto the clutch by fixing it to tools 9 and 10 with the nuts and washers, and applying
the set screw (3) (see fig. 8).
- Use a torque wrench like BETA 605E and rotate the screw head clockwise by applying a maximum
force of 5 Nm, until the clutch is no longer coupled to the main shaft.
- Now the clutch can be removed.
DOUBLE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY
- Fit the new clutch onto the plate (1) by fixing it to tools 9 and 10 with the nuts and washers; place it in
the bell and apply the set screw (3) (see fig. 9).
Caution: Check that the clutch has been correctly aligned, to prevent the clutch and
gearbox from getting damaged.
- Use a torque wrench like BETA 605E and rotate the screw head clockwise, applying a maximum force
of 5 Nm, until the clutch is properly coupled.
- Remove the plate (1).
- Install the removal bush (2) (see fig. 10).
