PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
1. A stopcock must be installed in
order to shut off the water inlet
for later maintenance or to prevent
long-term use, so as not to cause
damage to the inside of the osmosis
unit due to excessive water pressure.
Please turn off the stopcock of the
water inlet switch when not using
water for a long time.
2. The requirements for the water
osmosis unit are applicable to tap
water. If the tap water quality in the
user's area is poor and there are
problems such as turbidity, silt, etc.,
to protect and use the osmosis unit,
it is necessary to install a precision
filter at the front end of the osmosis
unit's water inlet. Pre-filtration of
large particles can effectively prolong
the life of the osmosis unit and in-
crease its protection.
3. The osmosis unit is suitable for water
pressure between 0.1 Mpa and 0.4
Mpa. If the water pressure is too high,
a pressure reducing valve must be
installed to ensure the safety of the
osmosis unit. If the water pressure is
too low, a booster pump must be
installed. Increase the pressure so
that the osmosis unit can operate
normally.
4. The operating range of the osmo-
sis unit is between 5 and 45 ºC. Be
careful not to use it at a lower or
higher temperature. Users in cold
areas should not install it outdoors.
In addition, avoid direct sunlight.
5. Do not install the osmosis unit near
strong acids and alkalis to avoid
corrosion.
6. It is advisable to install it under the
kitchen sink for ease of use and
maintenance.
7. If the local water quality is poor, it is
recommended that the filter element
be maintained and replaced every
3-6 months to make your family's
well-being and yours safer.
8. After installation, please rinse the
osmosis unit for about 15 minutes. At
this time, black and grey water and
foam will come out. It is caused by
the protective liquid and the activated
carbon in the filters. This is a normal
phenomenon and can be seen for a
few minutes.
9. When installing the osmosis unit,
please place it in a location out of the
reach of children. It should be placed
in a stable and safe position, not
tilted and not easy to touch in order
to avoid accidents due to collisions
and spillage.
10. The water flow rate of the osmosis
unit is related to temperature, water
pressure, water quality and the de-
gree of clogging of the filter element.
If there is a change related to any of
the above, the water volume will de-
crease. (Under normal circumstances,
the water output of the osmosis unit
will decrease by approximately 3%
for every 1 °C of temperature. This is
therefore a normal phenomenon.
There is no need to worry about
possible damage to the osmosis
unit. If used in cold places, the ambient
temperature can be increased).
11. The service life of the osmosis unit is
generally more than 3 years, but the
specific service life depends on the
local water quality and whether it is
cleaned according to requirements
during use.
12. If you wish to stop the osmosis unit
for an extended period of time,
disconnect the power supply and
close the water inlet stopcock. When
resuming use, be sure to open the
tap of the osmosis unit, drain the raw
water and rinse for another 10 minutes
before normal use.
