Operation of the setting tool

This tool can only operated with gear setting •. Gear setting • • is
disabled from the factory!
Changing the direction of rotation
Use the direction of rotation switch A to switch from clockwise (R)
(lever set to right = draw rivet) or counter clockwise (L)
(lever set to left = eject rivet mandrel).
1. Load the fastener
• Set direction of rotation switch A to clockwise = R.
• Insert rivet mandrel in the mouthpiece up to the setting head.
2. Setting
We recommend always working with full speed and low contact pressure.
• Actuate On/Off switch B.
• Rivet starts to draw, load distribution plate is pressed into place.
• When the rivet mandrel is heard to fracture, the setting process is complete.
• Lift tool.
3. Eject rivet mandrel/establish starting position
• Hold tool at an angle downward.
• Set direction of rotation switch A to counter clockwise = L (3.1)
• Briefly press On/Off switch B.
• Coupling noise "BRRR" can be heard.
• Rivet mandrel is ejected (3.2).
• Continue with step 1 again.
DANGER!
Do not subject the rechargeable battery to naked flames. Protect the
rechargeable battery against heat. E.g. continuous exposure to sunlight.
