Trouble-shooting
If the fasteners and discs jam
6.1 On malfunctions immediately pull back the fastener belt! Turn the knob to the left
until the retaining latch releases the fastener.
6.2 Remove jammed or twisted fasteners from the feed mechanism.
6.3 Use a fastener or pointed tool to release discs jammed in the disc magazine.
If there is heavy soiling of the mechanism or if the slider is faulty
6.4 Undo the clamping screw A and pull up the feed mechanism.
Undo the four stop nuts B (AF 10 mm) on the housing and remove the base plate
C.
6.5 Undo the three stop nuts D (AF 10 mm) and pull off the mounting plate E.
6.6 To remove the upper plate F with the transmission lever from the housing, it is
imperative the telescopic tube is moved out
upwards. Then undo the two hex socket head
screws (AF 3 mm) by two turns.
6.7 Now you can pull the upper plate F with the
transmission lever G out of the housing
and undertake the necessary cleaning or
