LAYOUT (A)
RL 70-100-130/M electrical connection three-
phase 220/380V power supply.
Fuses and cables section layout (A), see table.
Cable section not indicated: 1.5 mm
LAYOUT (B)
Power regulator RWF40 electrical connec-
tion
(modulating operation)
Key to wiring layouts (A) - (B)
BT - Temperature probe
BP - Pressure probe
IN - Manual burner stop switch
MB - Terminal strip
RS - Remote lock-out reset button (if present)
S
- Remote lock-out signal
TL - Limit control device system: this shuts
down the burner when the boiler tempera-
ture or pressure exceeds the setpoint
value.
TR - High-low mode control device system:
controls operating stages 1 and 2. The TR
load control is not required when the regu-
lator RWF40 is connected as its function is
performed by the regulator RWF40 itself.
TS - Safety control device system: this oper-
ates when TL is faulty.
LAYOUT (C)
Calibration of thermal cut-out 19)(A)p.3
This is required to avoid motor burn-out in the
event of a significant increase in power absorp-
tion caused by a missing phase.
• If the motor is star-powered, 380V, the cursor
should be positioned on "MIN".
• If the motor is delta-powered, 220V, the cursor
should be positioned on "MAX".
Even if the scale of the thermal cut-out does not
include rated motor absorption at 380V, protec-
tion is still ensured in any case.
N.B.
Burners RL 70/M - RL 100/M - RL 130/M leave
the factory preset for 380V power supply.
If 220V power supply is used, change the motor
connection from star to delta and change the
setting of the thermal cutout.
The supply to the auxiliary circuits must be 230 V.
The RL 70/M - RL 100/M - RL 130/M burners
have been type- approved for intermittent oper-
ation. This means they should compulsorily be
stopped at least once every 24 hours to enable
the control box to perform checks of its own effi-
ciency at start-up. Burner halts are normally pro-
vided for automatically by the boiler load control
system.
If this is not the case, a time switch should be fit-
ted in series to IN to provide for burner shut-
down at least once every 24 hours.
These burners are also fitted for continuous
operation, if they are equipped with control box
LANDIS type LOK 16.250 A27 (interchangeable
with the burner control box LANDIS LAL 1.25).
WARNING:
Do not invert the neutral with the phase wire
in the electricity supply line.
