PRODUCT SERVICE
Preparation of the pole pruner to work
Attention! Before all mounting and regulatory operations, you should disconnect the pole pruner from the power supply. Remove
the battery pack from the power tool socket!
Before using the pole pruner for a fi rst time, you must mount the guide and cutting chain.
For security reasons, the assembly should be carried out with protective gloves
Loosen the locking knob so that it is possible to remove the entire side panel.
Install the guide and chain as it is shown in the picture (II).
Make sure, that chain and guide have been installed in the right direction. The shape and direction of the links, which is visible on
the outside of the tool should correspond to the direction of the chain shown in the cells in the form of arrows. If on the chain, guide
and enclosure there is visible the indication of movement direction of the chain, then it should have the same direction.
You should not tension the chain yet, but to make sure that the chain fi ts in the guide row and in the teeth on the driving wheel
Mount the side panel and tighten the locking knob. However, it should be done so it would not block the move of guide. Use the
wrench to tension the chain. Tighten the locking knob. Check the chain tension. To do this, you should put the pole pruner and lift
it holding by the middle part of the chain (III). During this test, the chain in the place of its holding, should lift more than guide for
the range, which is visible on the illustration. If the chain is stretched too tightly or too loosely, you should loosen the locking knob
slightly and adjust the chain tension again. The chain tension should be checked also every 10 hours of work.
Secure the mounted chain guide with the chain by using the shield, and then connect the two parts of the pole pruner. Lift the
ring clamp lever (IV), and then insert the part with the switch to the part with ring clamp with guide. If in the ring clamp slot the are
visible catches placed on the housing of part with the switch, this means that you can secure the connection by lowering the ring
clamp lever (IV). Make sure, that the pole pruner parts will disconnect during work.
Before connecting the pole pruner to power, you should check its condition. If you detect any damage, it is forbidden to connect
the pruner to the power supply before removing the damage.
Oil addition
Attention! Before all mounting and regulatory operations, you should disconnect the pole pruner from the power supply. The tool,
which is mains powered, should be disconnected from the wall outlet, the pole pruners, which are battery operated, should be
disconnect from the battery.
For the lubrication of the chain and pole pruner mechanisms you should only use the oil, which is intended for such purposes. For
the lubrication you should not use the worn out engine oil. It does not meet its task, which can cause damage to the mechanism
of pole pruner.
Make sure, that lubricating oil is in its container. You should put the pole pruner on a level surface, to check the oil indicator. The
oil level must not be less than an indication of the minimum quantity. If there is no such indicator, for reference, you should take
