Operation
Always separate the tool from the mains supply before inserting or removing
accessories or before carrying out maintenance works!
Only use socket wrench inserts suitable for impact wrenches.
Check the impact wrench, the power cord and accessories before every use for visible damage.
The tool or accessories must not be used any further if there is visible damage.
• Determine the correct size of the socket first.
• Attach the socket to the square holder of the impact wrench until it audibly engages.
• Connect the power cord with a suitable power-outlet.
• Use the switch (x) to select the desired direction of rotation. (Clockwise rotation for
tightening, counter-clockwise rotation for loosening).
• Firmly attach the socket wrench insert to the bolt or screw head.
Switching on
Pressing the operating switch (x) switches the impact wrench on.
You can recognize from the motor sound that the impact wrench builds up torque first and the
forwards it to the screw at a single blow.
With clockwise rotation, the max. torque is limited to 100 Nm to prevent damage at bolts,
screws and the part to be fastened.
With counter-clockwise rotation (loosening of bolts and screws), the maximum torque is 320
Nm.
Loosening screws and nuts may require several impacts.
Only switch the direction of rotation over when the motor is at standstill!
Switching off
To switch the impact wrench off, release the operating switch. After completion of the work, pull
the mains plug.
Wheel exchange
• Block the wheels by means of the parking brake and engage a gear or set the automatic
gears to "P". Secure the vehicle against rolling away.
• No persons are admissible in the vehicle.
• Lift the vehicle using original accessories and tools.
• Secure the vehicle using suitable spacer blocks.
For safety reasons, the torque with clockwise rotation (tightening) is limited to 100 Nm. All wheel
nuts/screws must always be tightened applying the torque specified by the vehicle manufacturer
in the operating instructions using a torque wrench. There are no general values for aluminium
or steel rims! After a distance of approx. 50 km, all wheel nuts/screws are to be checked for a
tight seat and re-tightened to the required torque using a torque wrench, if applicable.
