3.2 Cleaning and maintenance
Heat pad
Before cleaning the pad, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down for
at least ten minutes.
The heat pad is equipped with a removable control unit (Art. 61140 HP 625).
Unplug the control unit from the heat pad by pulling out the connection cable
from the plug on the heat pad.
The heat pad can be cleaned dry (with a soft brush) or as described in the instruc-
tions on the product label.
Never use strong detergents or hard brushes.
To dry, lay the pad flat on a moisture-absorbent towel or mat.
Only use the blanket again once it is completely dry.
Reconnect the control unit to the heat pad in the
correct manner (please see the sketch, the arrow
markings are showing towards each other).
You should untangle the cable from time to time.
Store the unit in a clean and dry place, laid out flat
with nothing covering or resting on top of it.
Heat pad cover
Remove the heat pad from its cover.
Dry clean the removable cover or as detailed in the instructions on the label.
