This operation lasts about 3 seconds.
Customised programming:
To customise the day/night cycle, by changing the preset program, the timer is easily programmable by following the instructions
below.
WARNING: customisation involves changing the times of the preset program (8 hours for the daytime phase and
16 hours for the night-time phase) and only affects the hours of the daytime phase, while the duration of the
night-time phase will be adjusted accordingly to cover the 24 hours daily.
+ at the same time for about 2 seconds
I. Access the programming phase by pressing the keys
If successful, the red LED in the centre of the touch screen will blink.
II. To increase the daytime phase, press the
"+1h" key as many times as required, compared to the 8 hours of the preset
EN
program;
III. To decrease the daytime phase, press the
"-1h" key as many times as required, compared to the 8 hours of the preset
program;
Each time the respective keys are pressed, the reception of the command, both to increase and to decrease the time of the
daytime phase, will be confirmed by the steady illumination of the red LED in the centre of the touch screen.
IV. Exit the programming function by not pressing any key on the touch screen for more than 15 seconds. During this phase, the
red LED in the centre of the touch screen will flash, to indicate that it is in the programming phase.
V. The exit from the programming phase is signalled by the total switching off of the red LED in the centre of the touch screen for
a few seconds, followed by a number of flashes equal to the total number of hours programmed for the daytime phase.
VI. The preset program will start its cycle from the daytime phase with the LEDs at their maximum power, skipping only the
sunrise phase. This phase will be restored the next day, maintaining the complete day/sunset/night cycle and following the
durations of each phase starting from the time the programming was started.
EXAMPLE (fig. 22):
If you want the aquarium lights to turn on every day at 8 am and turn off at 7 pm, the total duration of the daytime phase
(including 40' for the sunrise phase and 40' for the sunset phase) needs to be increased by 1 hour with respect to the daytime
phase of the preset programme, for a total of 11 hours of duration of the daytime phase. The night-time phase will be
automatically increased to 13 hours, covering the 24 hours daily. In this case, proceed as follows:
• Start the programming at 8 am;
+
• Access the programming phase by pressing the keys
at the same time for about 2 seconds;
• Press the
"-1h" key 1 time to reduce the duration of the daytime phase, preset to 12 hours in the programme by the
manufacturer.
• Do not press any key for more than 15 seconds to exit the programming phase.
• The red LEDs will flash for a number of times equal to how many hours the lights will be on during the day.
• The LEDs will start the program of the daytime phase.
WARNING: with each new programming, the previous program will be deleted. The new programming will be
based on the preset program of the manufacturer (8 hours daytime phase and 16 hours night-time phase).
Dimmer operation (Fig.23):
The LED strips fitted in NEWA Mirabello aquariums are equipped with a dimmer that allows you to customise the brightness of
the light emitted both during the daytime phase and during the night-time phase.
In particular, remember that it is possible to change:
• the brightness level during the daytime phase from 15% to 100%;
• the brightness level during the night-time phase from 0 to 15%.
• IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE THE BRIGHTNESS during the sunrise phase or during the sunset phase. This is
because both the duration of each phase (40 minutes) and the brightness are managed automatically by the preset program.
