2. Each time before performing a measurement
or if the "Clean" warning indicator appears on
the display, check the infrared sensor and, if
necessary, carefully clean it with a cotton swab
soaked with a small amount of medical alcohol
and then immediately with a clean, dry cotton
swab.
3. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the housing.
4. After cleaning, store the thermometer in a
clean, dry place at room temperature or set it
on the table rest
5. Never subject the thermometer to extreme
temperatures, moisture, direct sunlight or
vibrations!
"Clean" warning indicator
The thermometer has a special warning indicator
that reminds the user when to clean the infrared
sensor on the probe tip of the thermometer.
