Generality
This videophone consists of an interior unit with a screen and an outdoor station making it possible to see and
speak to the visitor who has rung. To make the most of the videophone, please read this instruction manual carefully
3. COmPONENtS

a. Monitor (fig. 2.1)
1. Speaker for the ring tone and sound from the roadside panel.
2. Control screen showing a view of the visitor's face 18 cm 7" colour.
3. Prolonging the image.
4. Communication with the roadside panel.
5. Strike or electric lock control: press this key to open the strike.
6. Control for automatic gate opening mechanism: press this key to open the automatic gate opening mechanism.
7. Microphone to communicate with the visitor.
8. Blue indicator light: powered on.
9. Outlet for the 17 V
adapter plug (adapter to connect to an installation compliant with the NFC 15-100 standard
applicable in France).
10. Terminal blocks to connect the wires.
11 Holes for wall-mounting.
12. Selection of the ring tone (monitor on stand-by).
13. Brightness adjustment.
14. Contrast adjustment.
15. Ring tone volume adjustment.
b. Roadside panel (fig. 2.2)
1. IR LED for better visibility in the dark (light invisible to the naked eye).
2. C-MOS camera lens.
3. Loud speaker: allows you to be heard outside.
4. Call button: when this button is pushed the ring tone is heard inside. The screen and camera are activated.
5. Illuminated name holder. To change the label in the name holder, gently lift the plastic cover (8) using a small
screwdriver and slide the label out.
6. Microphone: allows the visitor to communicate with those inside.
7. Terminal block to connect the wires.
a. Optional audio response station (fig. 3)
1. Load speaker for the ring tone and sound from the roadside panel.
2. Power on indicator.
3. Ring tone and interior sound mute indicator.
4. Open control: for a strike/electronic lock OR automatic gate opening mechanism (with option WE 8111 SER.R4).
5. Communication with the roadside panel.
6. Free button (not used).
7. Microphone to communicate with the visitor.
8. Ring tone or silent mode selection. When the selector is in the top position the ring tone and sound from the
outside is cut.
