7 Maintenance operations
To get an optimal performance from the autoclave, program the following mainte-
nance operations.
7.1 Cleaning the draining fi lter
Follow these instructions:
•
Locate this fi lter inside the chamber at the bottom (See fi g 7.1).
•
Clean approx. on 3 month basis.
•
Filter can have inlay or dirty, due to the loads processed.
•
Unscrew (use only hand no tools) and pull the fi lter to remove it.
•
Remove the blue rubber and clean.
Note:
To avoid problems caused by dirtiness:
•
Clean the goods before to sterilize it.
•
Specially clean free form oil and grease.
•
Use only deionised/ distilled water.
7.2 Clean water reservoirs.
Follow these instructions:
•
Remove the 5 screws from the cover. See Fig 7.2.
•
Lift the cover.
•
Clean inlays and with a cloth.
7.3 Cleaning /changing the door gasket.
Follow these instructions:
•
Check, regularly, that it looks clean and no particles added on it.
•
Clean with a clean and smooth cloth.
•
Replace for a new one if you see any derated part.
7.4 Door adjusting.
If you note that there are steam leakages through
the door, you can adjust it by doing the following:

Stop the autoclave and let it cold.

Insert the spanner into the gap beneath the
plastic door cover.

Turn the door adjusting nut counter clockwise
using the supplied spanner as showed in the
pictures.
7.5 Fuse replacing.
Follow these instructions:
•
Unplug the unit from the mains.
•
Use a screwdriver to turn 1/4 the fuse holder cover.
•
Use fuse 6x30mm 12A.
•
Insert the fuse and fi x it.
