Adjustments and Settings Using the Menu

Adjusts the pan/tilt operations.

Function
ON: When the camera tilts downward and
AUTO-FLIP
goes just beyond the vertical position, the
dome rotates 180°. When the dome
rotates, the camera starts moving
upward.
OFF: The auto-flip function does not work.
SMART PAN ON: You can change the moving speed
according to the view angle. When the
pan speed is slower at the tele position
and faster at the wide position.
OFF: The pan speed is not changed.
AUTO PAN
NORM: The automatic pan moves at 25˚/
SPEED
sec.
SLOW: The automatic pan moves at 10˚/
sec.
PAN LIMIT ON: The pan operation cannot be done
beyond the preset area.
OFF: The pan limit setting does not
function.
AUTO-ONLY: The pan operation is done
within the preset area only in automatic
pan mode.
MASKING: A 360˚ pan can be done.
However, the picture is paused and the
mosaic picture and "MASKING" are
displayed when the camera turns beyond
the preset area. When the camera enters
the preset area, the picture becomes
normal.
You can set the right limit of the pan
SET R-LIMIT
operation.
Select SET R-LIMIT and move the joystick
leftward or rightward to display EXEC, and
then press the execute button on the
joystick. EXEC disappears and the right
limit of the pan operation is set.
SET L-LIMIT
You can set the left limit of the pan
operation.
Select SET L-LIMIT, then set the left limit in
the same way as SET R-LIMIT.
CLEAR LIMIT The limit of the pan operation is cleared.
Select CLEAR LIMIT and move the joystick
leftward or rightward to display EXEC, and
then press the execute button on the
joystick. EXEC disappears and the limit of
the pan operation is cleared.

1) SSC-CR512/712: When the shutter speed is set to 1/4, 1/8
or 1/15, the mosaic picture may not be displayed.
SSC-CR512P/712P: When the shutter speed is set to 1/3,
1/6 or 1/12, the mosaic picture may not be displayed.

ON: The focus is automatically adjusted
STOP AF
in stop mode of the pan, tilt or zoom
operation.
OFF: Adjust the focus manually.
DIGITAL ZOOM ON: You can use the optical zoom and
digital zoom, which are changed
automatically.
OFF: You can use only the optical zoom.
FOCUS CTRL
You can set the focus control speed to
SPEED
any of 14 values.
ZOOM CTRL You can set the zoom control speed to
any of 14 values.
