Maintenance task
► Check sealing element, piston, diaphragm on functionality and replace, if necessary.
Regularly
► Check tightness of housing, pipe connection and control line.
Regularly
► Clean the inner body.
Regularly
► Set maintenance intervals as per the conditions of use (e.g. actuating cycles, medium, ambient temperature).
► As part of the regular system inspection, carry out the following maintenance activities.
► Under deviating operating conditions (e.g. higher temperatures, medium with abrasive effect), it is recommended to carry out
more frequent checks.
WARNING!
Check regularly for wear!
Components coming into contact with medium during operation are subject to wear and tear. Frequent positional movement or the
use if aggressive chemical or contaminated medium results in frequent service being necessary.
► Regular implementation of visual and functional inspections of the valve corresponding to the conditions of use and the hazard
potential aids in preventing leakage and damage.
► Disassembling of the valve and checking the valve internally for wear and tear at the appropriate intervals.
► Adjust the service intervals to the usage conditions and the resulting load of the valve.
► Worn components inside the valve must be replaced immediately.
► Wear appropriate protective equipment.
NOTE!
The diaphragm is a consumable part!
With heavy usage the diaphragm is excessively worn and needs to be change more frequently. Worn or damaged diaphragms can
cause personal injury or property damage.
► Diaphragms and gaskets should be checked and replaced depending on the load and intensity of use.
► Only replace the diaphragm that is compatible with the valve according to the type plate.
