Use as a hot-air fan
Only use the device as a hot-air fan without the handle extension!
Removing paint and varnish. Warning: When removing paint and varnish, vapours may form which are
toxic and/or harmful to health. Ensure adequate ventilation and wear appropriate respiratory
protection.
Removing stickers and labels.
Loosening rusty or stiff nuts and metal screws.
Thawing out frozen pipes, locks, etc. Caution: do not thaw out plastic or pipes made from synthetic materials.
Highlighting natural grains in wooden surfaces before staining or varnishing.
Shrinking PVC packaging films and insulating sleeves.
Waxing and stripping skis.
Warning: Exposure to high temperatures causes a greater risk of fire and explosion! Ensure your
workplace is well ventilated. The gases and vapours which form may be toxic and/or harmful to health.
Use as a barbecue coal igniter
Do not use any methylated spirits or other liquid or solid firelighters! Only light barbecue coals outdoors!
Attach the grill nozzle (11) to the nozzle (6) of the hot-air fan and switch the device to level II.
Ensure that the last three grill nozzle holes remain free.
Once the charcoal has developed embers, remove the device from the barbecue coals and allow to cool.
Selecting the right nozzle
The tapered nozzle (7) is for killing weeds
The grill nozzle (11) is for lighting barbecue coals.

Cleaning and maintenance
Keep safety features, air slits and the motor housing free from dust and dirt as much as possible.
Clean the housing with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use detergents or solvents as they can affect the plastic
parts of the device.
We recommend that you clean the device immediately after each use.
Make sure to prevent any ingress of water into the inside of the device. Water entering the electrical device
increases the risk of electric shock.
If the power supply cable of this device becomes damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
his customer service team or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid risks
Otherwise, the device requires no maintenance.
Storage
Allow the nozzle to cool down sufficiently after use. To do this, switch the operating switch to position 1 and
allow the device to run for 2-3 minutes.
Store the cooled device and its accessories in a dry and frost-free place.
The ideal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C.
