NOTE on material damage
− Do not immerse the scale in water or other liquids.
− Do not under any circumstances use harsh, scraping, or abrasive
cleaning agents or the like to clean the scale. If you do, the surface
could be scratched.
− Wipe down the scale as needed using a lightly dampened, soft cloth.
− Disinfect the weighing surface and the sensors from time to time using a suitable
disinfecting agent (available at specialist retailers and pharmacies).

Possible Cause
Are the batteries empty or have they been
inserted incorrectly?
Is the scale standing on a firm, even surface?
Is a device that can cause electromagnetic
disturbances located in the vicinity of the
scale?
Remove the batteries from the scale and
wait a moment. Re-insert the batteries. The
data stored up to this point will be retained.
For body analysis measurement: Was your
body cold during measurement? Then it's
possible your blood was circulating poorly.
Warm your hands and feet and repeat the
measurement.
Were you standing still and barefoot on the
weighing surface during the measurement?
Your feet must be in complete contact with
the weighing surface and sensors.
The maximum capacity of the scale (180 kg)
has been exceeded.
The batteries are empty (see "Inserting/
changing batteries").
