for complete and proper combustion.
This heater's air adjustment gate is factory set to
operate normally at 0-2,000 ft. above sea level. The
air gate will require adjustment if the heater is to

NOTE: Variations in flue gas, CO2, and temperature
readings may be experienced when the
burner chassis is not put in place. Therefore,
the burner chassis cover must be in place
when making the final combustion instru-
ment readings, to ensure proper test results.
Thermostat

The optional remote thermostat is a fully enclosed
NEMA 4X with a single stage thermostat.

If thermostat is not needed or required, select manual
( I ) setting on the selector switch.
If a thermostat is required:
• Lift the thermostat outlet cover to expose the
thermostat outlet.
• Either plug the 25 ft. thermostat cord to the thermostat
outlet or plug a standard extension power cord to the
thermostat outlet.
• If using a extension cord, plug the thermostat cord to
the female end of the extension cord.
• Select thermostat
setting on the selector switch.
WARNING
• ALWAYS cover the thermostat outlet when not in use.
• DO NOT plug an appliance to the thermostat outlet.
• DO NOT plug an inline thermostat into the thermostat
outlet.
• Maximum extension cord length to be used with the
thermostat:
18 GA up to 100 ft. (30.48 m)
16 GA up to 150 ft. (45.72 m)
