INSTALLATION
Danger of falling: do not use the hooks on the roof! The safety equipment must only be used in combination
with the special safety hooks against roof drops.
Danger of burns: to prevent burns due to parts of the solar panel at high temperatures, take the following
measures: install the solar panel only on cloudy days; on sunny days, it is preferable to work in the early hours of the
morning or in the evening hours, or after having carefully covered the solar panel.

RULES FOR INSTALLATION
For the design and construction of solar thermal systems, refer to the following regulations, laws and provisions in the
relevant version in force and those issued by any recognized authority (UNI, CEI, ISPESL, etc.) directly or indirectly
involved in the work.

PACKING
The Discosol is supplied completely assembled. The instructions booklet (FIG_04-1) is found in the packaging in
addition to the appliance. After removing the appliance from the packaging, make sure that the supply is complete and
undamaged. Then bring the panel to the place where it will be installed, taking care to move it using the appropriate
handles (FIG_04-2) in order to avoid compromising the seal of the black seal that seals the cup and the tray.
The packaging elements (cardboard box, bags and plastic sheeting, staples) must not be left within reach of children
as they are potential sources of danger.
4.5

PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS

Before installation, keep the solar panel away from possible sources of damage such as bumps and
accidental drops.
Warning: before installing, never leave the solar panel upside down to avoid possible damages caused by
water infiltrations in case of rain.
Before filling, never leave the appliance exposed to direct sunlight; it is advisable to cover the solar panel.
Attention: before connecting the panel to the system proceed to a thorough cleaning of the pipes, in order
to eliminate metal residues from processing and welding, oil and grease that may be present and that, reaching up to
the panel, could alter the operation. Do not use solvents to wash the system as they could damage the system and /
or its components. Failure to follow the instructions in this manual may cause damage to persons, animals and things,
for which the manufacturer can not be held responsible.
