6. Keep the stove away from open flames and/or sparks while testing.
b) Testing
1. Make sure all control knobs are in the "O" position.
2. Make sure the regulator is connected to the gas cylinder tightly.
3. Completely open the cylinder valve by turning the counter clockwise. If you hear a "POP" sound, turn the
gas off IMMEDIATELY, it indicates a heavy leak at the connection. Call your gas dealer or fire department.
4. Check every connection from the gas cylinder up to and including the connection to the manifold pipe
assembly (the pipe that goes to the burner) by brushing or spraying the soapy solution on the
connections.
5. If a soap bubbles appear, there is a leak. Turn off the cylinder valve IMMEDIATELY and retighten
connections. Open the cylinder valve again, and recheck.
6. If leaks cannot be stopped, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR. Call a professional for help.
7. Always close the cylinder valve after the leaking test by turning clockwise.
8. Only the parts recommended by the manufacturer should be used on the stove. Do not use the stove
until all connections have been checked and do not leak.
FINAL CHECK
At least 1m maintained from combustible constructions to the sides and the back of this stove.
There are no unprotected combustible constructions over the stove.
All internal packaging must be removed.
Burners are sitting properly on the orifices.
The knobs turn freely.
The unit is tested and free of leaks.
The user has been informed of the gas supply shut off valve location.
STOVE LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Make sure all gas cock knobs are in the 'O' position
BEFORE LIGHTING
Finally inspect the gas supply hose before turning the gas "ON". If there is evidence of cuts, wear, or abrasion, it
must be replaced before use.
Very important: always inspect the hose before each use of this stove.
LIGHTING WITH A MATCH
Tools: Matchstick holder
Usage:
1. Open the lid during lighting.
2. Simply place a match between the coils on the end of the matchstick holder, light the match and place it
close to the burner holes.
3. Push and turn the knob to "HI" position, and make sure the burner lights and stays lighted.
4. If the burner does not ignite after step 3, turn off the gas and wait 5 minutes for any excess gas to
dissipate, then either repeat steps 2 and 3 or light with an external flame.
5. Adjust the burner control to the appropriate setting. When you have finished using your cooking, turn all
the gas control to "O".
Note: Keep a spray bottle of soapy water near the gas supply valve and check the connections before each use.
