BEFORE FIRST USE
Heating the oven
To remove the smell of the new oven, heat the oven while it is empty. One hour of operation in the 'conven-
tional oven' function at 250° is ideal for this purpose. Make sure that no packaging remains are left in the
oven compartment.
cleaning of accessories
Before using the accessory for the first time, clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water and a soft dish
sponge.

The following information will help you use your oven in an economical and energy-saving way:
1. Use dark-coloured or enamel-coated cookware in the oven, as heat transmission improves.
2. while preparing your dishes, preheat if recommended in the user manual or cooking instructions.
3. Do not open the oven door unnecessarily during cooking.
4. Try to cook more than one dish in the oven at the same time whenever possible. you can cook by placing
two baking trays in the rack.
5. Prepare more than one dish in succession. The oven will already be hot.
6. you can save energy by turning off your oven a few minutes before the cooking time is reached. Do not
open the oven door. The dish will finish rising in the remaining heat.

USING THE OVEN
General information about baking, frying and grilling.
Danger of scalding from hot steam! Be careful when opening the oven door as steam may escape.
you should choose a cooking temperature and function that suits the food you are preparing. you should
also ensure that the food is placed in an appropriately sized dish and that you use the drip tray where ap-
propriate.
Tips for baking
1. Use non-stick coated suitable metal sheets or aluminum containers, or heat-resistant silicone molds.
2. Use the space on the stand as best as possible.
3. It is recommended to place baking tins in the middle of the rack.
4. Keep the oven door closed.
Tips for frying
1. Using lemon juice and black pepper will improve cooking when cooking a whole chicken, turkey or other
large cut of meat.
2. Bone-in meat takes about 15 to 30 minutes longer to cook than a boneless roast of the same size.
3. you should calculate about 4 to 5 minutes of cooking time per centimeter height of the meat.
4. Let the meat rest in the oven for approximately 10 minutes after the cooking time has been reached. The
juice is better distributed over the entire roast and does not run out when the meat is cut.
5. Fish in an ovenproof dish should be placed on the rack at the middle or lower level.
