z Charging the battery
The battery is charged in all operating

modes. To optimise initial charging, leave
the product switched off during charging.
Please note: The battery is fully charged
after it has been well exposed to sunlight for
7 to 8 hours. The duration of the charging
process depends on the battery's charge
level and the quality of the sunlight.
Maximum illumination time when fully
charged: approx. 80 hours ("Mode 2")
z Operation
The product can be operated in three
different modes. The operating mode is
selected by means of the switch
Please note: The solar panel will turn on
the product in twilight or darkness and will
switch it off at dawn. It memorises the
selected mode.
Please note: Battery charging via the solar
panel does not depend on which mode is
selected. The battery is charged continuously
at all times.
Mode 1 (AUTO)

The product will be switched on as soon as

the motion detector detects movement. It
will light up for approx. 30 seconds. If
another movement is detected in these 30
seconds, it will keep the light on for another
30 seconds. LEDs light up at full power in
this mode.
Mode 2 (NIGHT LIGHT)

automatically at dusk. In this mode, LEDs
do not light up at full power, but only at
approx. 14 lm. The product will switch to
full power for approx. 30 seconds as soon
as the motion detector detects movement. If
