APPLICATIONS
This tool is primarily intended for the sawing, longitudinally and transversely, of solid wood, chipboard, plywood,
aluminium, tile and stone held in a fixed position. Please note that the blade pre-installed in the saw as supplied
is intended for use with wood only. Any other use or modification to the device shall be considered as improper
use and could give rise to considerable dangers.
BLADE SELECTION
Three blades are available for this saw. each is for cutting different materials. Select the correct blade for your
applications.
24 teeth TCT Saw Blade (model: GAPCS351) is for cutting wood, plastic and other soft materials.
80 teeth HSS Saw Blade (model: GAPCS352) is for cutting drywall & non-ferrous metals.
Diamond Blade (model: GAPCS353) is for cutting tile, backerboard and cement.

GENERAL CUTTING
WArNING:
can be used properly.

If you are a novice user, practice by cutting thin wood until proficient.
CAUTION:
in a straight line gently. Forcing or twisting the tool will result in overheating the motor
and dangerous KICKBACK, possibly causing severe personal injury.
It's important to understand the correct technique for operating your saw and to learn what the correct and
incorrect ways for handling your saw are.
equally important to working safely and realizing accurate cuts is correct preparation of the workpiece and work
area prior to making the first cut with the saw.
Check the specifications to ensure the suitability of the material to be cut.
• Check the blade, make sure it is the correct one for the material to be cut, and it is sharp and not damaged.
• Set the cutting depth. (See "Setting the cutting depth" section)
• Place the material to be cut onto a flat surface such as a workbench, table or floor. use a piece of scrap material
underneath if:
> You do not wish to damage the work surface.
> The work surface is likely to damage the blade. e.g. a concrete floor.
• Draw a cutting line along the desired path of cut.
• Securely clamp the workpiece so it will not move during the cut.
• Plug the tool into a power source.
• Grasp the tool firmly and rest its metal base plate onto the surface to be cut. ensure that the rear half of the base
plate overhangs the work surface.
• Move and keep the cord away from the cutting area. Position the cord to prevent it from hanging up on the
workpiece and you from standing or tripping on the cord while cutting.
• Switch on the laser if necessory. Switch on the tool and wait for a moment for the blade to run up to speed. Next,
depress the plunge release button and plunge the blade into the material slowly and gently, but firmly. Then
push the tool forward along the line to be cut.
