(1) Connect the components to the charge controller in the order shown above and pay spe-
cial attention to the "+" and "-". Please do not insert the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker
during installation. The sequence is retained when the unit is switched off (see Figure 2).
(2) Check that the LCD display is switched on after switching on the controller. Otherwise,
please read the Troubleshooting chapter on page 9. Always connect the battery first, so that
the controller can detect the system voltage.
(3) The battery fuse should be installed as close to the battery as possible. The recommend-
ed distance is 150 mm.
(4) The controller of this series is a positive earthed controller. Any positive connection of a
solar panel, load or battery can be earthed if required.
NOTE:
Please connect the inverter or another load with a high starting current to the battery and not
to the controller, if an inverter or another load is necessary.
