REMOVAL
Loosen screws (1) M5x30.
Remove screws (1).
Screws (1) must not be reused!
Collect and dispose of escaping fuel.
Unlock and loosen connector (1).
Loosen screws M6x70 along the arrows.
Screws must not be reused!
Replace screws.
Remove rail upward.
Injectors remain in the cylinder head.
If installed:
remove seals (1).
Seals (1) are not needed and will no longer be
installed!
Note: the seals (1) are helium sniffing seals.
These seals are only needed during the initial
installation at the factory.
For removing the injectors, the special tool
9866 is needed.
The special tool consists of:
Plate (1)
Receptacle for injector (2)
Removal thread (left-hand thread) (3)
Screw collars (4)
Bolts (6)
