CLEANING THE MOWER
•
If wet grass has stuck in the device mechanism, start by cutting the engine. In all cases, remove
the safety key and leave it out of the device during cleaning, then wait until all the moving elements
are completely stopped.
•
Take out the collector bin for grass from its support.
•
Place the lawn mower on the side and remove all the grass stuck to the fixed elements as well as
to the mobile elements. Also remove the grass stuck on the drive axis in the middle of the cutting
blade.
•
If foreign bodies (strings, plant fibers), wrapped around the drive axis, remove the cutting blade
using a 12 mm key.
•
Remove the foreign bodies then tighten the cutting blade. Observe the diagram below to perform
the steps in the right order.
STORE YOUR MOWER
Please follow the following steps in order to store your mower after each use.
•
Clean the mower as described in the previous section.
•
Inspect the blade and leave it, if necessary (see the «Maintenance» section).
•
Grease and lubricate the different moving parts of the mower.
•
Store the mower sheltered, in a cool and dry place, out of reach of children. Avoid storing it close to
corrosive substances, such as fertilizers, diluers or fuels.
•
Do not cover the lawn mower with a waterproof tarpaulin; By condensation, the humidity retained
may damage the metallic and electronic components of your mower.
RECYCLE THE MOWER
The components of the mower can contain elements dangerous for the environment and should not be
thrown into the wild or with your household waste. In order to avoid any risk for the planet, here is the
procedure to throw your tool:
•
Cover the terminals of the socket with adhesive tape.
•
Do not try to dismantle or access the components of the device.
•
Do not incinerate the machine.
•
Throw the elements in a recycling center or an approved recycling center.
