Preparation and adjustment
Adjusting the parallel guide
Set the parallel guide (7) at the required
distance from the saw blade and tighten
using the lock screws (9).
Setting the bevel angle
Loosen the two hexagonal screws under
the jig saw's soleplate using the Allen key
provided (4).
Tilt the soleplate to the right or left to the
required angle from 0-45 degrees and
retighten the hexagonal screws.
Dust extraction
If necessary, � t the dust extraction nozzle
(5) to the jig saw and turn it anticlockwise in
order to lock it securely in place. Connect a
vacuum cleaner to the dust extractor nozzle.

Replacing the saw blade
Unplug the jig saw.
Tilt the blade guard (10) up.
Pull the blade holder (11) and pull the old
blade (8) out of the holder.
Push a new saw blade as far as possible into
the groove in the blade holder with the
teeth facing forward and with the back edge
against the saw blade wheel (12).
Release the blade holder so that it glides
back into its original position. If necessary,
push it into place.
Pull the saw blade to check that it is correctly
positioned and locked in place.
Tilt the blade guard down again.
