BATTERY CHARGING
TO CHARGE YOUR BATTERY
To charge the battery, use only the Elinchrom ELB 500 Charger
(19277). First plug your charger into the battery charger socket
and then into your mains socket. The LED on the charger turns red
while charging. When the battery is fully charged:
1. The LED on the charger will start flashing green.
2. The 4 LEDs on the battery are green while pressing on state
of charge button (3). Time out 3 sec.
3. The ELB 500 battery charges to 90% in approximately 100
minutes.
CHARGE DURATION
The charge duration will vary depending upon the battery's state of
charge. The charge duration will be significantly longer if the battery
has been left completely discharged for weeks.
The battery must be charged for 2 min to turn on the unit when it's
fully discharged. When it's in the sleep mode, it must be charged
for 6 min to switch on.
